Chris

"I light up the net-like everydays CHRIStmas, Chris"

Forward/Guard/Center

  Team

 Jack "Jacked-up" Hanratty

Forward/Center

Green Team

A beast on both ends of the court---Jack Tractor Hanratty and Robert Traylor both have the ability and size to dominate---once they learn the game from playing more and more---these dudes will be un-stoppable this summer---watch out for these tractors---when the Ratsta isnt balling you can find him relaxing at the pool sipping on gin and juice, laid back---(with his mind on his money.)

Josh "nappy" Davis
My Favorite Rapper
Guard/Forward
Green Team

When you think of a player who just needs a shot---you think of Jordan Farmar and my favorite rapper Josh Nappy Davis----if you take a nap, these dudes will make you pay----when not getting after that rookie of the year prize, you can find Josh napping or singing to beautiful girls..

Shawn "Cow" Cowgill

Guard/Forward

Black Team

Dennis Rodman and Shawn Cowshit Cowgill both play with all heart---they go full-tilt 100% of the time--These dudes both will fill-up the stat sheet with pure hustle and TOMMY POINTS----The question is---Can the league handle dudes like this?! -When not kicking ass on the court---Cowgill can be found rooting for the Red Sox.

Jason "Baldy" Baldeck

Guard/Forward

Navy/Blue Team

Brent Barry and Jay Baldeck can both stick---watch out for his brother Joe I mean Jon? When asked how many points he was going to score---Baldy said, shit-atleast 25 tonight---when asked how many he was going to average in his return back to THE LEAGUE Baldy said check out my picture son. When Baldy isnt swishing 3's you can find him on a diamond because he's playing baseball.

Joseph "Joey" "Baldy" Baldeck

Forward/Guard

Free Agent

Another possible rookie of the year candidate I believe--anyways, I'll fix it later--I want to go to bed---here's a brother Jay---I mean Jon Barry and Joey Baldeck will both make you pay with a sweet set-shot---watch out for Joey, he's going to suprise some people with his hoop skills---when not playing ball you can find Joey laughing at IHop with a unicorn.

 Nick Lois & Clark

Center

Black Team

Nick Clack and Dwight Howard will both swat your shit if you bring it to them weak---both defensive wizards---Lois&Clark and DHoward have the potential to be THE LEAGUES very best once that offense game develops----watch out for Clark throwing your shit this summer----when Lois&Clark isn't balling he's saving lives.

 Derek "Big Baby Virg" Virgo

Center/Forward

Red Team

 Adam Yakavonis

Free Agent

 Will "Willy G/ill Will" Gambee

Guard

Red Team

Where did Rajon Rondo and Will Gambee come from this year?? These dudes both do everything exceptionally well and keep getting better---They dribble, shoot, pass, & defend on an ALL LEAGUE level---They both are extremely fast and have great court vision. When Willy G isn't running his summer league teams to victory he's being ill, taking long walks on the beach with Stone Cold, and snowboarding/wakeboarding/jet-sking or something else crazy---watch out summer league---Willy G has the potential to be the Summer League 2010 RAJON RONDO.

J. "Jonnie" Coule be Scal's little bro Yerkes

Guard/Forward

Red Team

Where did these kids come from? Both Russell Westbrook and Jon Yerkes came into the league highly-touted but played even better than advertised .Yerkeshit hit many big shots last year and his and Westbrooks strong guard play is the reason both of their teams excelled in the play-offs. When not playing in the league you can find Jon working long days, dunking on bitches and hanging out with friends.

Seth "Sethayy" Perky Perkins

Forward/Center

Navy Blue Team

Not only were they both 2 of the most coveted free agents of 2010, Chris Bosh and Seth Perkins can both get it done from all angles on the court---don't let their size/height fool you, these athletic big-men can both shoot exceptionally well for their size----when around the hoop Perkins is a problem---don't try bringing anything weak up in his kitchen----when Seth isn't ballin' you can find Seth attending Ivy league colleges, going to a Colonial League schools or hanging out with his friends.

Kevin "Mellow-yellow-Stello" Costello

Guard/Forward

Black Team

Michael Redd and Kevin "mellow-yellow" Costello both can shoot the lights out---both coming off major injuries it will be interesting to see if these shooters will get their strokes back. I know Stella got her groove back...but can Stello get his stroke back? When Kevin isn't balling he enjoys playing wiffle ball and attends U. of Bentley in the off seasons.

Mike "Good-Knight/Knight-o" Knight

Center/Forward/Enforcer

Free Agent/Retired?

When you think o Mike Knight and Kendrick Perkins you think of physical play. They're not going to score a lot of points, but they will always do the little things that every team needs to do to win-Rebound, put backs, picks, shut-down the other teams bigs, they are your enforcement basically. He may be known to have a temp tantrum or 2...When not playing in THE LEAGUE you might find Knighto riding ATVs, riding street bikes or bouncing at a local watering hole.

Peter "Meet the JUDGE"

Center

Free Agent/Retired?

If you think of a dominant big-man in the league Pete Judge and Tim Duncan both come to mind. Perfect basketball frame with great fundamentals. Not always going to wow you with anything spectacular, but will get the job done every night. Both men are double-double machines-----if you try going up against the Judge---he's denying your ball like the judge did your bail----When Pete isn't balling in the league you can find him behind the bench holding court, swatting basketball and swimming.

Derek "Bernie HALL-y-wood"

Forward/Shooter

Grey Team

Free Agen/Retired

When Hedo Turkoglu & Bernie step onto the court they may not look like the stereo-typlcal basketball player---but dis-respect either of their games and they're going to make youu payy all night long-&you will hear about it all night long--these dudes will not miss a shot if left open---good range-in&out--known for going off and hitting multiple trey-bombs in a row---release and shot not always the best-looking--but that rainbow 3 somehow finds nothing but net over&over----- when not launching treys in The League Bernie enjoys playing PS3 and watching The Sopranos.

Matt "Matty C/DJ White Lightning" Costello

Forward/Center

'Captain of the Black team'

Black Team

Had to do it-- but Stello is to the elbow to what Scal's is to anywhere around the key. Also play similar in the post and work well off a good big guy---Both get pumped up and are crowd favorites...When not ballin' you might find him delivering liquor or you might catch  DJ Matty C spinnin' the newest tunes at The Loft Thurs- Saturday nights--

 Wayne "YMCA" Johnson

Guard/Forward

Retired?

Wayne "Broad St. Bully" Johnson and Josh Childress both took a hiatus from The League to whoop on some lesser talent---now back in THE LEAGUE it will be interesting to see if these dudes can still hack it. This seasoned vet can ball---They both do everything well with the ball and known for their solid defense----don't let these men shoot because they will make it rain on 'dem hoez all night like pac-man jones @ a strip club. When Wayne isn't balling in The League he's working at the YMCA or spinnin' the 1's&2's @ The Broad Street Pub.

 Paul "Is da Mann" Mann

Forward

Navy Blue Team

When Paul "da" Mann gets da ball---its much like when TA.Tony Allen from the Boston Celtics gets the ball----you sort of hold your breath because he may do something absolutely spectacular or he may do the un-expected-(which is expected from paul)..or he'll launch an erratic/wild 3-point shot.(stop that paul!)

Defensive specialist---has the athletic ability to shut down the opposing teams best player---when not playing in THE LEAGUE you can find DA MANN on match.com, bein ill at the Y, working in the union, or playing baseball for the Cardinals.

JT

"Buzz"

Green Team

Greg "GO/Sul" O'sullivan

Guard/Shooter

Red Team

When players like Steph Curry and Greg "suly' O'sullivan walk onto the floor you need to get a hand up or it's nothing but the bottom of the twine. Many claim these players are under-sized and can't make it in THE LEAGUE but both of these dudes have proven everyone wrong. Lighting up the league' with great shooting and exceptional court vision THE LEAGUE better be ready because these diaper dandies are ready for the bright lights. When Sully isn't burying treys you can find him partying with his friends.

 Dan "Da Man" Bombardier

Forward/Guard

Free Agent

Jim "Gumby" Gambee

Guard/Forward/Defensive Specialist

Black Team

Not afraid to express themselves, Ron Artest and Jim Gambee have motors that do not stop. Great defensive players and they do a little bit of everything on offense. Can handle the rock, 'wap' shots from mid-range & beyond the arc, passes & defends, runs the floor with the best of them. Complete game.

When Jim isn't putting his heart & sole into THE LEAGUEs games, he's working in the finance field/playing fantasy sports and also enjoys fishing and playing Halo with his friends.

Dan "wam bam thank you mam" Spector

Guard/Forward

'Captain of the GREEN TEAM'

Green Team

Hate to go old school on you wam---but you and Darrel Armstrong both are under-sized combo guards that both over-ahieved from a lot practice and playing with even more heart, Both Darrel and D-Spec are respected veterans around THE LEAGUE for there intensity and hard-nosed defense. In passed summers he not only may have averaged double digit points per game, but both these dudes also we're getting atleasssst two cookies and over four dime's a game. Both of these dudes can D-up.  When Wam isn't running THE LEAGUE you can find him spitting hot verses over hot beats, being ill, straight-up balling' and playing sports of fantasy.

Andrew "Please say da babe" Mccabe

Forward

Green Team

Andy Please say da Babe Mccabe and Wesley Johnson willl initially find time on the floor as a small forward since that would give them both matchup advantages. These 2 dudes are going to be rookie of the year candidates this summer/year---Watch out for the jumpers---often compared to Ratahd Lewis from Orlando--but don't hate cause we're tall man---multi-talented diaper dandies and are working on there games as much as anyone! Watch out for Mccabe da Babe-because if he's anything like W. Johnson--he will definitely become a double-double threat because he has a motor that doesn't stop. You can find Mccabe talking to babes and hanging out with friends when he isn't finding out what the league is all about this summer...

 Mike "Close the Curtain" Curtain

Forward/Center

Black Team

Another rookie of the year candidate and new-comer to the league---Mike "My jump-shot will close the curtains" Curtain and Xavier Henry both come from basketball families and were taught the game at young ages, with very polished skills and playing in high profile leagues. You just don't see many Curtain or Henry's fame/build, swagger and leadrship intangables at such a young age. They may not be the best athletes around, but they are a lot more athletic than what they are given credit for. Watch out for both the X-man and Curtain closing out games like your mom closes the curtains when it's sunny out. When Curtain isn't balling, he's hanging out with friends and playing basketball.

Mark "weeze" Climo

Guard/Center

Navy Blue Team

This combo guard is deadly as soon as they walk onto the court. They both had an accident that tried to slow there production but they are both back looking better then ever. Mark Cimo is Monta Ellis because when you think of a pure shooter with PG handle and vision both of these guys may come to mind. If they drive it's probably to dish, but don't be surprised if they finish with an akrobatik shot. You can find Mr. Climo down Florida teaching 7th graders or playing golf in the Sunshine State during the off-season.

Andrew "Shot is so sweet they call him Andy Candy" Sproule

Forward/Center

 Team

When you think of players in either league--these players may not come to mind---But Charlie Villanueva and Andy-My Shot's like Candy Andy- Sproules both have a nose for the ball and always seem to be involved in the play. People have the tendency to lose track of both players and they will burn you. Watch out for Charlie, but more so of Andy this summer--he's on track to be a double-double machine--maybe triple doubles? When Andy isn't playing in the league you can find him chillin' with friends, hustlin' to get that paper yo and playing video games.

Jake "The Kid/Perk" Perkins

Forward/Center/Guard/Lamar Odom

Creator of The Navy Team

Navy Blue Team

The Kiiiiiiid is back for another summer---This do it all-lefty is Jake Perkins and Lamar Odom---These dudes can pull  hollywood caliber broads, step out from mid-range, wap 3's, or post ya ass up----ability to shut-down the opposing teams 1-5, you need to D-up this veteran because he's cutting to a hoop near you for a lay-up. When Jake isn't ballin' in the summer league--you can find him playing baseball, being ill, and blogging. Did I mention he likes to party and play fantasy sports?

JJ "Young Gunner"

Guard

Free Agent

Xavier guard Jordan Crawford and Grey teams guard Young Gunner JJ both have games that allow them to attack the basket relentlessly, utilizing there quick first step and body control that gets them to the rim at will. That said, they occasionally can get going from the outside and it's lights-out. Watch out for both of these dudes because they both have above average court vision. Let's see if they can get it done in THE LEAGUE---when JJ isnt trying to get minutes in the league you can find him dunking on lebron and pimpin', believe me--he says it aint easy.

Richard "Richie Rich" Mcglaughlin

Forward/Center

Retired/Free Agent

Richie are you playing?

 Melvin Stevens

Guard

Free Agent?

Melvin is another rookie of the year candidate---his size and intensity brings comparisons to none other than Boston/Bridge favorite Nate Robinson. Watch out for both of these small dudes doing it BIG!!! They do it with a lot of hustle and going hard. When not balling you can find Melvin hanging out around the Commercial Club challenging you and schooling you and your boys in backyard football with Matty Knight.

 Ross "Yak/Yaka Bang" Yakavonis

Forward/Center

Green Team

When you think of an under-rated big-man who gets no respect every year because of an un-orthadox style of play you think, Yo Zack Randolph and Ross Yakavonis both get no love! Snubbed from the All-Star game this year--Randolph continued to dazzle much like Yaka did in the off-season, getting it done from the outside as much as the inside. Watch out summer league, this man can get it done from outside and inside----When Yaka isn't spittin' rhymes you can find him playing fantasy sports, having 30 racks in his back-packs, ballin' and giving out lessons in PS 3.

 Chris "Chris I don't Miss-O" RussO

Combo Guard/Shooter

Navy Blue Team

When you think of an explosive lefty guard Delonte West and Chris Russo both fit the bill---These dudes can both get to the hoop and knock down the 3 with the best of them. When Chris isnt knocking down treys from down town you can find him sleeping/banging Lebron's mom, hanging out with friends or straight chillin!

 Jay "Stone Cold" Carlson

Stone Cold 3:16

Jay Stone Cold Steve Austin--man, this was a tough one, I wanted to go with Phil Jackson-But he might have given me a stone cold stunna if I did that sh!t!

Jay has been apart of the league  since day 1. In passed summers you'd find Jay coaching Willy G's team to victory and White Team to championships in passed summers, but I hope he comes Grey for 2010! When Jay isn't roaming the side-lines he enjoys crushing steve-weisers, stunnin' s.o.b.'s, and going out to dinner.
